Linux Logos

1996

Many of these logos come in three colors: "rock-solid" gray, "golden master" yellow, and "penguin" black. Note that on monitors that are not properly color calibrated the black lettering may appear less legible. The fonts used are Adobe Optima and Adobe Gill Sans Bold. Sorry, but no transparent GIFs are available. All bitmap logos have a white background only.

These logos were created in Adobe Illustrator and modified in Adobe Photoshop and GifBuilder. All work was done on a Power Macintosh 8100/80av.

All of these logos incorporate some elements of many other Linux logos found elsewhere on the web.
